A pint can that was bought at the close-by HEB, glad they offer decently priced singles. I’m using a chunky, old style beer glass today, right kind for a pilsner I think. The appearance is a clear, vibrant yellow liquid with a sticky, all white head. The smell is grainy, not much beyond that. And the drink is essentially pilsner. Grain again, lemon, a slight bit of metallic something, water, but ended by a nice bitterness. I get more of a sense of fullness than with other pilsners. Good in the style.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is cereal and toasted grain. Slick body, toasted malt, cereal, biscuit, light dry finish, very good.

Very good example of the style. Sweet bready malt and nice floral hop notes, hops come through to follow and last much longer. Crisp dry finish. Bright yellow with white loose head, which didn’t last long. In training

16 oz. can from HEB, Boerne, TX. Pours a hazy light yellow-gold color with a white head and very good retention. Spotty lacing. Streaming fine bubbles. Soft pilsner malt aroma. Soft pilsner malt flavor too, with a little bread and a semi-crisp mouthfeel and mellow, soft bitterness. Medium-light body. Clean and smooth.

Sampled from the tap at the Portland location. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light flora and sweet grass with straw and hay notes backing. Flavor has straw and sweet grass with a touch of lemongrass and a hay backbone.
