Clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white and almost tan head. Aroma of resin, pine, grass, flowers and a dash of alcohol, all with a relatively strong malt backbone. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep, resinous hop bite up front with a lot of hop bitterness, some pungent herbal and dank resinous notes with a syrupy kick and a dash of flowers and cleanser, all with a relatively strong malt backbone. Aftertaste shows some deeper earthy malts with a touch of nuts and fresh-cut grass, along with some herbal elements and a strong bitterness from the hops that shows high alpha acids and a very syrupy/resinous bite. Overall, a decent enough Imperial-ish IPA that shows some good fresher hop characteristics with a flavourful and pungent malt backbone with the syrupy and resinous notes that give this enough character to be enjoyable. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Bullwinkle's Liqour Store here in West Yellowstone, Montana on 30-July-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in West Yellowstone, Montana a few hours later, on 30-July-2020.

Bronze, and a fairly earthy nose. Earthy taste, quite bitter but without brightness. Still, a decent brew, if really standard for the type.

Bottle: Pale copper color with a small whiteish head, very little lacing. Nearly no noticeable aroma at first, but citrus and caramel evolve as it warms. It ends up being a decent sweet, citrusy caramel blend that is consistent with the flavor. Nice citrus and floral hop bite with the caramel malts. Not a high octane DIPA, but middle of the road and approachable. If there was more (intensity) to the aroma I’d boost the score, as the taste is pleasant and refreshing. I’ll revisit again if I can find this on draft or if they start bottle dating…
