Super clean, light WC. All grapefruit oil/rund, but with a touch of sweetness like from a pink grapefruit (without the flesh) and pine resin. More body than it looks like.

Nonic draft at the Danville Brewing Company in Danville, California. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a foamy 1/2 inch off white head that is lasting. Nice lace. The aroma is grain malt along with faint floral citrus. The taste is cereal grain, crystal malt, then floral and earth mineral behind that. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and mineral dry finish. Old school IPA, which these days was a nice change of pace.

Tap. Pours clear golden Amber, medium creamy off white head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is Grapefruit, caramel malt, pine, orange zest. Flavor is light sweet, fairly malty but not sugary, light bitter, pine finish. Medium body. Not bad, a bit old school.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some sweet berries, bread and caramel. Very sugary on the nose. The flavor has some floral hops with a little grapefruit and lots of sweet caramel. Maybe some hints of cooked veggies mingling with some herbal, leafy hop bitterness. Way too sweet for a proper IPA. It reminds me of the old school brewpub IPA’s of 10 years ago.
