A single-hopped New England-style IPA brewed exclusively with new season Mosaic. Pouring with a bright orange glow and a heavy haze, this vibrant modern pale ale leads with an aroma of blueberries, floral notes and tropical fruits. The first sip is a splash of juicy stone fruits, with soft mango, ripe peach and sweet nectarine flavours coming through in waves. The addition of oats creates a soft and thick body, resulting in a beer that is full-bodied, delicious and balanced.

Can at Free Beer opening party. Slight hazy golden. Weedy hops, sweet fruits, quite some sweet malts. Solid sweet and lighter bitter. It's nice, but not as good as previous versions.

44cl Can from Appellation Wines. This one is 6.2%. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Creamy, snow white head. Nose - sweet peach, green grape and ripe melon with some citrus zest. Taste - sweet peach and melon again, then running into zingy lime. Palate - light to medium bodied, zingy middle and finish. Overall - good quencher! --- Beer aliased from original tick of 05|08 India Pale Ale - Mosaic on 17 Jan 2015 at 14:58 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottle from Beets. Appearance - deep amber with a decent head. Cloudy after sediment. Nose - definitely more earthy than fruity. Yeast dominant. Taste - earthiness and bitter orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent but wouldn’t necessarily reach for another.

Keg at BD Camden. It pours hazy golden-amber with a decent white head. The nose is juicy, zesty orange citrus fruits, dank skunky action, grassy and earth. The taste is bitter, bready/brioche malt base, orange zesty citrus, mango, dank hops, honeysuckle, some pine and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather tasty and quaffable stuff.

Bottle from Drygate. Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of orange marmalade, earth and lightly roasted malt. Flavour of pine, lime and musty orange. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A decent IPA, but I’ve tried more complex single-hop Mosaic beers.
