Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Mighty Oak Yuletide Gold ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, spicy - floral, butterscotch notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity, butterscotch, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141205]

Pigs Ear. Cask. As ’Oooltide Gold’ according to Fonefan! :) Thanks Jan for the pour. Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and semi dry with good crispness. Light pale malts. Bitter floralness. Hops are mildly skunky with orange and tangerine fruits. Light crisp finish. Bitterish linger. A cut above the other Goldens here.
