[2/14/15] Draught at The Rare Barrel in Berkeley. Bright hazy golden color. Lovely aroma with funk and tropical fruity hops. Sourish flavor with lots of hops, citrus and tropical fruits, oak, a lactic touch and a lemony note medium-bodied. Great and extremely refreshing.

Draft. Amber beer with a ream head. Tropical fruit and citrus aroma with light tartness. Tart and light sourness lingers with tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit and tartness lingers with light earth and light grapefruit.

On tap at Rare Barrel. Aroma is slightly acidic with quite a bit of citrus. Light oak notes. An odd herbal note, like lemon pepper. Lots of tropical fruit. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small, faint white head that lingered a bit on the edges. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet and moderately acidic. Medium bitterness. Lots of tropical fruit notes. Moderate citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer with a lot of fruit character from the hops but also a bit odd. Way better than the average dry hopped sour, but tangerang is better.

Sample at Sour Sunday 2015. Yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, orange, funk and light oak. Similar taste. Nicely balanced and really refreshing. An interesting hoppy sour beer.

Tap. Pours cloudy golden, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is tropical, citrus, oak, lemon. Surprisingly light aroma overall. Flavor is dry, light plus tart, oak, tropical citrus, peach. Medium body.
