Pours an almost black colour with a small tan head. A roasted oatmeal and coffee ground aroma. A rich roasted oatmeal and dark malt taste, moderately sweet with coffee and cocoa flavours and dryness in the finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Dodo, Hanwell 17/11/2017. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Rich, milk chocolate notes, some coffee beans, porridge oat creaminess, a hint of leafy hop, before a gentle finish. Enjoyable.

Cask gravity at the London drinker beer fest 2017. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with reddy hues and a lasting loose dark tan head. Aroma is earthy roasted malts, barley, oysters, earthy, burny twigs, tangy woodland berries. Palate is earthy grains, tangy, medium bodied, decent cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy green apple, earthy roast and dark choc, woody roast. Tart woody berries linger. Ok.,
