On tap at Barrelworks. It pours black with a foamy tan head. The aroma is strong with clove and allspice. Smells more like a pumpkin beer than anything else. A little cocoa. The flavor has hints of cherry, wood, and lots of allspice and clove that I’m guessing comes from the spiced cherry bitters. A little sweet cocoa in the background. I was expecting more of a cherry forward beer and got more of a spiced beer. Meh.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, cherry cordial, vanilla, Chocolate covered cherry, hints of whiskey. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Interesting cherry notes. Medium plus body. Good.
