Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Mighty Oak Snowbeard ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, toffee, light wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, toffee, sweet malt, toasted, light wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Rich chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is nutty, toffee fudge, brown sugar, light spice. Taste comprises dark malt, toffee, dark fruit rinds, light spice. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smei drying close with light bitterness. Decent bitter with a pinch of spice.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Dry bitterish malts and dried fruits. Little nuts. Light dry finish. Bitter linger. A little bit better than your average bitter.
