Draught. Black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts and some mild toffeeish tones. Flavour is fruity, some toasted, roasted and toffeeish tones with quite much alcohol and quite evident rum notes too.

Fra flaske, første dag på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: brunsort med kort skum. En potent og lækker stout hvor fadlagringen (30 dage med en 8 års New Grove Mauritius rom iflg festivalprogrammet) har sat tydelig præg: vanilje, molasse, hint af røg og træværk, og selvsagt mørkbrænt kaffe, dessertchokolader og alkohol.

Bottle as Raasted Gourmet Imperial Rom stout. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich rum, fruits, roast malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee and hops. Sweet rum finish. Lovely.

Sample @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Randers Romstout ].ABV: 9.0%. Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, toffee - butterscotch, sweet malt, caramale, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Ølfestival. Black with a lasting off-white. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar and diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with rum and diacetyl.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Dark malty. Mild fruity. Toasted dark malty and mild fruity. Roasted dark finish.

Draught at KØ16. Sweet liquorice aroma. Cloudy-looking, black colour. Almost no head. The flavour has a mild vanilla note to begin with, then comes a good alcohol burn. Finishes with a nice sweetish and bitter liquorice. Very mellow.
