A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light meaty notes, pleasant.

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the bottle. Near clear brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Dark malts are pretty coffee laden, earthy fruity and satisfying. Some odd but pleasing alcohol notes, mildly floral fruity - slightly sake, must be the Rakki barrel? Interesting and quaffable brew!!

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Tipple. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting halo of khaki head. Aroma is vanilla, oak, vinous funk, paint, bruised grape, brown sugars, sticky. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy, harsh oak tannin. Paint, vinous funk, dark roast. Harsh alcohol.. Little harsh overall. Dark coffee.

330ml bottle at Tropical Home, Hoi An. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a big roasty, liquorice, dark chocolate, light red berry fruit, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Big and boozy. The alcohol dominates.
