440ml can from Left Field Beer. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light orange, tangerine citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a dry, light floral, fresh, crisp, light dank, grassy, light orange citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing and tasty. Great for a session, despite the ABV!

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy and mildy dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Unusually for Phantom, not oversweet. The classic Simcoe and Citra hop combo bring good cooling pine and light bright floral citrus, layered but light tangerine and mandarin. A light crisp finish shows a modest amount of hop spice. A clean, drinkable and bright IPA that satisfies but never wows.

Keg at the Phantom taproom, Reading, 06/10/23. Clear golden topped with an off white crown. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises crisp malts, grass, melon, grapefruit zest, papaya, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent.
