Kegbat Eebria. It pours darkest brown with a thick light tan head. The aroma is rich, spiced, dandelion & burdock, clove rock, dark fruits, treacle, floral and candy. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, charred wood, clove, ash, spice, dried berry chai spice with a dry wood finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting stuff, but a bit drying perhaps.

Bottle. Muddy brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of cloves, spices and fruit pudding. Flavour of ginger snaps and mulled wine with a tangy finish. Thin body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I liked this more as I drank it, but it’s quite heavy on the spices.

Bottle poured at Chesterfield Alehouse - Hazy dark red body, thick off white head. Nose is cloves, banana and a bit of spruce. Taste is thick with notes of nuts, caramel and the overriding gobful of bananas and the cloves at the end. I really liked this one.
