The first beer from Trikala could only look like the city of origin. Fruity, peppery and complex in taste, it supports many of its characteristics in the two hops Contennial and Cascade that it uses for its preparation. An India Pale Ale from another era, more romantic and authentic.

20/4/2019. Bottle from Barley Cargo, Athens. Pours hazy pale gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, yeast and flowers. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above everything carbonation initially with a fizzy mouthful. Quite good apart from the fizz.

Draught at The Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Lightly cloudy, pale amber colored. AROMA- fruity, lots of citrus and tropical fruit. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, bitter, fruity, hoppy, hop resins. Medium bodied.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Lithenia (Ληθένια) ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, wood - fruit bitter, light fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

330 ml bottle at Ulfborg. Clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, bread, citrusy fruity, orange, grassy. Light sweet and moderate to heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
