Dark rusty orange colour with fluffy head. Very malty. Touch of caramel sweetness. Soft bitterness in the finish.

33cl bottle from REWE Steidel - Nittendorf. Head is medium, tam, good retention. Colour is dark coppery, clear. Aroma is malty, toast, leaves, berries, bit caramel. Taste is medium malty base, toast, bready, bit berries, caramel, more on the malty side, soft carbonation, ok, drinkable.

330 ml bottle. Muddled brown with a creamy head. Chocolate, malt, some citrus notes, caramel, raisins and dried fruits, toffee. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter malty finish. Not that clean, quite rustic Zwickel.

Klare bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, schwach fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht floral hopfig mit Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Ein Mitbringsel meines Kumpels Phil und seiner Freundin -Danke dafür an dieser Stelle. Ein Zwickl, das auf der einen Seite schön mild unf weich ist, auf der anderen Seite aber auch eine pfeffrige Hopfenseite hat, die aber schnell untergeht. Es ist ein gemütliches Trinkbier, das aber nicht so schnell fad wird. NIcht schlecht.

Bottle picked up at Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 17th August 2022 sat outside listening to Marc Riley on 6 Music after a Chicken and Black Pepper Thai curry. Pours clear chestnut colour with an off white head. Malty with a toffee caramel and nutty edge but also a little grassy hop bitterness that creates a little divide and displays this beer as being far from one dimensional. I liked it, similar in certain traits to a good clean UK bitter.

Brown. Aroma is huge melasses with light dough and chestnut. Taste is sweet melasses and malt with soome sour light carbonation. Pretty full and thick with quite smooth quaffability. Alright.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a roughish, off-white head. Malty toffee nose with a hint of nuts and biscuits. Rich, malty body, sweet caramel and nuts and a subdued bitterness. Lacking some aromatic hops to balance the rather sweet malt side. 220422
