Cask at The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast and light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, super yeasty, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. An old skool cask IPA.

Cask at The Euston Flyer. It pours clear golden - amber with a small, frothy white cap. The aroma is earthy, sappy, woody, floral, cereal, nutty and some biscuit. The taste is fairly dry, earthy bitterness, bitter - sweet, it's quite floral, grassy, peppery spice, waxy citrus peel, biscuit malt, toothy and light tannin with a drying finish. Average body and light carbonation. Pretty forgettable, which is a shame as it is some time since I had a Fuller's cask ale!
