Bottle, 5.8% as Howling Monkey Tintin i Congo. Black colour. Very big rocky light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted with a faint lactose sweetness. Low bitterness but OK roasted note in the finish. Well-balanced. Not extremely flavourful, but good for the style and ABV.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with profuse, airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt and fruit, with hints of lactose. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to sweetish notes of lactose, malt and caramel, finishing on a roasty, coffeelike, and hoppy note. Lingering, roasty aftertaste. Not bad but rather dry for a sweet stout.

Fra fad på DØE Lokomotivhallen mai-16 (dag 2) med Steven: brunsvart med højt skum. Aroma og enda mere smag af kaffe, vanilje, chokolade og lakrids, men afslutningen er en smule vandig. Mild bitterhed.
