Cask handpull at The Swan, Ashford. Chestnut with lasting beige head. No great condition on this, but tasted fresh enough. Wychwood yeast and some rich malt fruit aroma. OK on the swallow. Nice enough malty best bitter with Wychwood yeast character. OH and £1.75 a pint.

Russett looking beer with a frothy head, malty taste and mild finish. Not great but not rubbish, just fairly average.

Cayo Arms, Cardiff. Had a long walk in the pissing rain from my hotel to find this boozer in the hope of a decent brew and this was a BIG disappointment. Dark reddy brown with a creamyish off white head. Not much in the way of aroma or flavour that stood out really. Some tired malt in there. A chore to drink. Callaway should send in their lawyers and sue the ass of Marstons for this as the name must surely be copyrighted to their superior product which nestles in my golf bag. Seeth.
