Tap at the brewery in Norfolk Virginia. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a halo of light tan. Aroma is semi sweet, creamy vanilla, oaky, notes, buttery. Flavour is composed of semi sweet cola, raisin, mellow roast. Vanilla, oaky, buttery,. Warming alcohol.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is light, bourbon. Flavor is essentially wasted down bourbon. No real stout character remains. Medium body, a bit watery. Disappointment.
