375mL bottle, pours an opaque vibrant orange with large foamy, frothy white head that lingers - great lacing. Aroma brings out lots of wonderful funk, along with citrus zest and some subdued tropical fruitiness. Flavour is very funky and dry, with tons of barnyard funk upfront, followed by spicy citrus zest, almost a peppery note and a bone dry biscuity malt backbone. Lovely funkiness to this and so bone dry. Wonderfully constructed. Another excellent addition to an excellent series.

Draft at The Happy Raven. Hazy gold color, lasting spotty lace down the glass. Aroma is bold grassy, citrus with hints of Brettanomyces. The flavor is pretty complex. The hops with the Brett really make this enjoyable for me. Grassy, oak, with bitterness balancing the Funk. This is damn nice.

Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Thanks to our host. Lightly hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has good fine carbonation. Brett! Savoury sweaty brett! Little citric peel and a little orange. Light dry bretty finish. Very bretty but quite drinkable.

Bottle. A- Citrus, tangerines, subtle pine, slight funk. A- Golden color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Bitter, pine. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Much more bitter and aggressive than I’d have ever thought for a sour and much less funk. Not my thing.

Draft at Churchkey. Cloudy golden yellow color, massive cream colored ice cream cone head. Aroma is dusty, peppery, bready earthy fruit. Taste is dusty stone fruit, white pepper. Nice balance. Very tasty.

37cl bottle from ølbutikken 72dkk. galaxy hops version. clear yellow, smooth offwhite head. sourish aroma, malts, brett, mild citrussy note, flowery notes and sweet malty notes makes this a bit sweeter in the aroma than what i’d expect from a sour. flavor is mild bretty and quite hoppy bitter to balance, also a sort of yellow fruity citrussy flavor in there. quite complex.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 7/1/2015. Huge thanks to Leighton for this beaut. Aroma is big horsey dirty brett, manure, some plastic. Mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with Duffy white frothy. Flavour ’s composed of tangy pineapple, bretty funk, horsey, pineapple. Plastic. Tangy citrus. Palate is airy, frothy lively, straw, bitter lemon, straw lingers. Really light the brett character. Xolid.

Bottle split at LKS, thanks to LKS, 07/01/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is big dungy brett strokes, sat about pineapple chunks, bitter orange, straw, lemon rind, funk. Taste comprises lemon rind, funk, tarte citric rinds, brett strokes, musty wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well balanced brett affair.
