Tap. Pours clear hazel, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is, butterscotch, caramel, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, malty, boozy. Medium body.

12 oz can from HyVee Ankeny, dated 8/23/21. Dark and a bit hazy amber Oktoberfest color, under a fizzly head. A lot of caramel malt smell, and some alcohol right in the nose. Just might be a bit oxidized from being a little past its season. Taste is quite concentrated Oktoberfest extract. Rich in caramel. Hops are there only as a bit of balance. Picking up the whiskey from the barrel, of course, but it blends nicely with the alcohol punch of the Oktoberfest brew.
