On tap at De Bekeerde Suster, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out light roasted malt, winter spices, and caramel. Flavour is extremely malty, with medium roasted malt, cocoa, light-to-moderate spiciness, and caramel. Bold and deep. This is quite nice.

On tap at ’De Brabantse Aap’ as ’De Bekeerde Suster Vintrus’. Clear, dark reddish brown with a huge, creamy, stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty, fruity-spicy aroma of caramel, brown sugar, some raisins, clove and hints of coffee. Sweetish-malty, fruity-spicy taste of caramel, overripe banana, prunes and brown sugar, followed by a short, slightly sourish, yeasty-spicy finish with notes of coffee and clove. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
