Barrel Aged Series 2021 #5 A collaboration with our friends over at Faith American Ales. A virtual brew on St. Patrick’s Day 2021 with Kelsey Grammer. First off we brewed a coffee-infused milk stout. We then aged this in fresh Irish whiskey barrels. The result is an amazing Irish coffee stout.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A clear dark mahognay brown black coloured pour with a halo of mid tan head. Aroma is rich dark choco, campfire, smoke, fudge cake, chipotle spice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, rich chocolate pud, oily, hint of spice, oily brown sugars, Palate is medium sweet, oily, mellow carbonation.

Can at home, from Crafts and Yards, 01/05/22. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is big on coffee beans, light spice, dark malts, whisky notes, charr, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises coffee bean, vanilla, whisky barrel, oak, chocolate, molasses, booze tunes, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid coffee forward impy with a mellow barrelled backnote.
