Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, quite herbal, touch of dried fruits, nutmeg. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Quite malty and herbal/spiced, not my kind of beer.

Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Hazy orange brown with a tan head. Aroma of herbs, red berries, caramel and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from maakun, thanks! Pours dark amber with creamy white head. Chalky aroma with light citrus, wheat and grass. Some boiled vegetables and a strange bitter finish.

Sampled @ Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda, 2016. Clear light amber color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, weird herbal stuff, plant like. Not nice at all, yuk.

Small sample from bottle @ PRZH Winterbiertickfest. Clear amber color. Light beige head. Aroma’s: vegetables, light sweet fruit. Retronasal it’s ginger, sweet, fruit. Flavor is herbal, light bittersweet. Light bodied. Light bitter finish. OK, but nothing special.

Thank you for sharing people! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Deep fox amber, little of-white head. Nose is rotting sweet caramel, sugar, spoiled vegetable oily candy, sugar, light carrot. Taste is massive oily herbal cough syrup, spoiled vegetable, green plats, spoiled sugar. Massively oily vegetable oily body. No idea what is happening here but yikes.

Bottle sampled at Winterbier festival Gouda. Clear amber with cream colored head. Light caramel, a touch of citrus, chalky, dried fruit skins, sour berries. I don’t get that much wheat here. Light sweet, sour and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit dry feel.

Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2016. Gedeeld met de hele clan! Helder caramel met gladde kraag. Aroma van caramel, fruitig, zoet, gist. Smaken zijn matig zoet, zwak bitter, veel kruiden, ietwat droog, matig zoet, zwak bitter, droog, overall too herbal.
