Can from Beer52. Never had a bad beer from Gipsy Hill (this is my 13th) although never rated one a 4+ either. Lets see: Look: clear gold, small white head, decent retention. Nose: citrus, yeast, earthy, its ok but not really inviting. Taste: as per aroma really, citrusy but with a yeasty-earthiness although some nice floral and spice notes from the hops help to give contrast. Palate: light to medium bodied, oily. Fairly average in truth. I'm still getting used to Kviek IPAs and now we are getting Cold IPAs made with lager yeast at warm temperatures. Is the term 'cold' ironic? Anyway experimentation is great but not sure on this sub-style yet. I'll keep an open mind though.

Can: Poured a golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citrusy, grainy, light hops. Taste is more citrus, passionfruit, lively on the palate.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Poured a pale straw with a massive, but temporary white head. Some vague citrus in the aroma, but not much. Sweet and fruity at first in the mouth, with tangerine to the fore. Pretty soon though citrus leaning hops make their presence felt, with a tangy bitterness. Still some summer fruits lingering in the finish though. Pleasant enough, and refreshing, but not really what I’m looking for in a beer.

Thin beige head left a clear pale golden lifeless body. Weed, cat piss & sweet fruity aroma. Thin, lightly carbonated & cloying on the back. Bitter, hoppy, fruit juice & herbaceous tastes. Lacking in all parts.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A straw coloured pour with a loose white head; orangey aroma; smooth in the mouth with a grainy body, some orange fruit, and a little caramel; then a gently earthy finish. Light and refreshing.

Can thanks to Shaun. Appearance - golden and clear with a snow white head. Nose - dank and green plant stalk. Taste - orange and grassy. Bready. Palate - light bodied, bitter grassy finish. Overall - so so.
