Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/07/22. Murky deep toilet water brown to light black with a good sized beige crown. Nose is earthy hops, spruce tips, tropical fruit notes, pine needle, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises cocoa powder, cola cubes, pine nip, hint of grapefruit, some orange marmalade shining through, light charr, hint of perfume, red berry dusting, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough CDA.

Can from Beer 52. Pours a dark burgundy with minimal transient cream head. Some tropical fruits in the aroma, but not much else. In the mouth it has a watery texture, but plenty of flavour to it. Oats and hints of chocolate to start with, rapidly followed by roasted malts. Then tropical fruits come afterwards and win out in the finish. This is rather nice, but not really what I was expecting. More a Session Black NEIPA !

Rocky beige head on a reddish brown body. Toffee, caramel & berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a nicely carbonated cloying back. Toffee, malt, red berries, tangy citrus & hoppy tastes with a big fruity finish. Very tasty.
