This modern Golden Ale showcases Crisp’s Scottish Pale Ale Malt with some supporting bready notes from Caragold and Vienna malts. Jester hops deliver hints of tropical fruit and grapefruit alongside floral and blackcurrant aromas.

330ml can. Brewed by William Brothers. Mostly clear gold with consistent white top. Aroma of bready and cereal malt with blackcurrant and hint of lemon. Taste also is quite bready and malt focused. A creeping punchy floral bitterness comes through. Some modest fruity hop also. Its ok.

330ml can via Beer52, most likely a rebadge of something: BBE February 2026, drank at home late on 28th November 2024. Golden body, clean and clear, white crown that lasted a while. Bitter, crisp hoppy bite, mini-citrus leaning, dry and lip-smacking. To be far it's a lot better than I expected even if it was a little 'thin' body wise.

[33cl can from Beer52, as "Crisp Malts Workhorse Scottish Pale Ale", brewed for them by Williams Bros.] A pale amber pour with a close white head; fresh grainy aroma; tart blackcurrant taste; and a lengthy dry finish with a fruity bitterness.
