30/10/2025. Cask at Norwich Beer Festival (Castle Social). Lovely deep golden pour. Aroma is malty, caramel, butterscotch, popcorn. Fairly sweet. Smooth with soft carbonation. Easy drinker and nicely done.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th September 2025. Clear copper with shallow, yellowy white foam and full lacing. Nutty malts aroma. Grassy hoppiness in-mouth with a nutty malt and an avalanche of citrus on the tongue. Citrus and maltiness linger in the finish. A few bitter grasses return. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Pours a murky golden brown. This turned out to be quite a malty beer with subtle hopping. Notes of honey, biscuit, grains, blackberry, hint of fruit cake. Quite sweet. Somewhat rich and that easy drinking for the style.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Bookshop, Bedminster 12/6/2024. Deep gold in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. An easy drinking mild, with sweetish notes of sultana, biscuity malts and honey, before a gentle finish with a slightly floral kick. Very good.
