Cask at the brewpub. It pours clear golden-amber with a small beige head. The nose is toasted grain, baked goods, leather and wood. The taste is woody, earth, varnish, old leather sofa, general citrus vibe and a touch of sweetness with a earthy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. A bit twiggy if truth be told. OK.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a white cream crown. The aroma holds ripening orange and leaves. Medium sweet with some grainy bread, more ripe citrus, grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty sturdy grassy bitterness on the finish, with some further grainy bread, a bit of orange rind. Decent ESB.
