10/VIII/24 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Mattie’s place, midsummer mussels dinner with the inlaws, BB: XII/2029 (2024-727)

Pretty clear dark amber beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sugary and fruity, forest fruit flavoured candy (cuberdons), very dirty, chemical, lots of band-aid, pretty bad. Another bad Koelschip beer, wish I could say it came as a surprise, but it doesn’t... MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: a bit sourish, dirty, very chemical, band-aid, sourish, bleh. Aftertaste: a little funky, sourish, infected, a little fruity, chemical, little bitter, red currants, sourish, forest fruits, bah.

Clear golden colour, white foam. Nose of citrus, some fruits, lots and lots of carbonation, some tartness. Very messy and unbalanced. It's very difficult to find a balanced beer from this brewery.

Clear golden colour with lasting head and lots of carbonation. Plain tasting. Grainy. Small amount of acidity perhaps from the champagne yeast.
