Bottled. Deep brown colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is smoked, some toasted malts, mild nutty and a bit wooden tones. Flavour is quite boozy, but also has some smoke, nuts and mild caramelly notes.

Flasche 0,33l (Kalea Bier-Adventskalender): Bernstein, Kupfer, kräftige Trübung, eher flüchtiger mittelporiger Schaum; sehr fruchtige + kräftig würzige , kräftige würzige Eichennoten, Whisky, würzige Süße, dunkles Karamell, Honig, Malz, Malzzucker, Hefearomen, leicht alkoholisch; süßer + kräftig würziger Körper, würziger Honig, Med, deutliche Eichenaromen, Malz, kräftig Malzzucker, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, kräftige Hefenoten, eingelegte Früchte, sehr dezente Hopfennoten; angenehmer würzig-süßer Nachgang

330ml bottle, thanks to Kolschtrinker. Pours dark brown, small off-white head. Smoky malty nose. Light on the palate, some prominent smoky, nutty notes, semi-sweet malt, woody moments, moderately strong alcohol tang. Ok.

VERY smokey. Not a whole bunch of malt whisky type flavour because of the mask of smoke. But the smoke is at least an enjoyable smoke. Craft beer dresden.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival. Dark amber with a small head. Aroma of peat, smoke and malt. The same in the taste. Some alcohol in the finish.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear dark brown color with thick soapy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of smoked ham, leather, peat and wood. Taste starts with moderate sweet and rich roasted and smoked malt, following is umami and dark fruity with whiskey note, mouthfeel is warming, while finish is medium grassy bitter. Full body, thick creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Tasty smoked liquid meat...

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy brown pour with a red hue. One finger creamy beige head with excellent retention, really long lasting. Good lacing as it collapses. Strong malty nose, lots of caramel and toffee. Wooden notes, medium smoked. Medium body, softly carbonated. Texture is light to medium thick, smooth mouthfeel. Bittersweet taste with slight tart to it. Aroma is medium malty with nice subtle smokiness going on. Caramel, toffee. Wood. Nutty notes, hint of whiskey. Slight fruity tartness in the background. Well hidden alcohol. Short finish, slight malty sweetness. Overall, interesting beer to try. Nice entry level beer for the smoked style. A bit watery overall, but tasty nonetheless. Good one.

33cl bottle. Pours clear reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of heavy peated malt, smoke, whiskey. Taste of peated malt, dark reddish malt in the background, smoky, caramelish.

Intensiver Torfgeruch. Trocken rauchiger Beginn, milde Süße, angenehm torfig. Steigende Süße, dunkles Malz, mild herb. Monoton, süffig, langer Nachhall. 8/8/9/9/10/9
