Sample glass @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Zwönitzer Whiskybock ].Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, cardboard, oak, peat notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, bread, pale malt, peat, sweet malt, cardboard. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160520]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a dense, off-white head. Intensely peated aroma, lots of iodine and tar up there. Rich and very sweet caramellish malt back bone, but everything is drowned in the insane peatiness. The base beer is very cloying by itself, but in the end it’s probably the peat that will make you puke. 150616

Fra flaske på DØE dag 1, sammen med Steven: klar kobber med kort skum. Vanilje, cigarbox og malt i aroma og smak. 1 års fatlagring kommer til sin rett i smaken og munnfølelsen. Også noe karamell og bær, naturligvis. Slnk og farlig lett for sitt oktannivå.

Bottle at KØ16. Quite peaty aroma, slightly plasticky. Clear chestnut colour. Small white head. The flavour is sweet and caramelly with some peat.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hopy powerfull whisky aroma. Strange light sweet whisky peeted flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Disharmonic but ok whisky notes.

Many thanks for this bottle to Kappldav123. Pours a brown color. Aroma and taste are large toffee, some caramel, and finishes sweet.
