Appearance: glossy dark yellow to copper color with a swiftly dissipating head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: lemony tart and sweet tones; Bretty/sour-ish notes; some hay/grassy/straw whiffs, nice floral character;
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine Bretty/sour to lemony tart to semi-sweet and floral character; finishes semi-dry with some lemon and Brett
Texture: light to medium bodied, leans towards being a sipper; not as smooth as I thought it could have been as plenty of tart and sour tones seem to punish the tongue a bit
Overall: for the most part, I'd say a pretty nicely done tart saison I believe I could come back to.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Tart lemon and funky meadow aromas. Sharp with lemon and sweet meadow and bretty yeast front to back. Lasting dusty lemon peel finish.
