Super hazy ruby glowing brown coloured body with almost white/yellow highlights because of the haze. In addition, tons of chunky large particles at the bottom make for a crazy look. Aroma of bananas, clove, anise, liquorice, canned corn and yes - wheat and yeast. Full-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with wheat, bananas and cloves most noticeable. Aftertaste is mellow and wheatie, showing some alcohol and a plentiful amount of sugars. Overall, a pretty good weizenbock, not complex near the end, but the flavour shows well. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 03-May-2008 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 05-July-2008.

12oz bottle. Deep red-brown color, very cloudy and thick in appearance. Mystery ABV...I’d guess 6.8% or so. Certainly an enjoyable beer, but not really a world class weizenbock. Malty sweet and rich, worth a try for the enthusiast.
