Brewed with a combination of strong malts and complemented by notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and dried orange peels, this ale is a nod to winter's distinctive flavours. Expect the aroma of spiced pastries and citrus with a hint of nuttiness up front. The palate is met with a smooth texture marked by vanilla, a touch of cinnamon, and the slight bittersweet of orange, resulting in a memorable finish that evokes the flavour of winter.

335 ml can. Pours a chestnut brown with full head. Aromas of nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, ginger and biscuity malts. Flavors follow same. Thin. If one is going to add all these spices the base beer needs to be bigger IMHO.

Dark amber, lasting beige head. Nice cinnamon vanilla nose, cinnamon more prominent in palate. Sweet with orange notes and good lacing

355mL can, pours a deep dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Nose is full of winter spices -- particularly vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon -- with a toasted bready malt backbone. Flavour is sweet, malty and spicy, with plenty of caramel, toasted bready malt, light cinnamon, some vanilla, and a hint of nutmeg. Medium-bodied, just heavy enough to be able to support the spices, which are reasonably balanced. I'm not generally a fan of these types of spiced winter ales unless you've got a much bigger beer base, and this isn't an exception; but, for what it is, it's not bad.
