This is yet another collaboration that doesn't measure up. Bland and boring. Why bother ?

Bottle at B's Craft Beer Lounge, Langley; 6.5% ABV
Blond color, clean. The base seems more Lager than Ale, very mild and quite dry, and there is a light fruity and sour touch, from the apples.
Very simple beer.

Golden, thin head. On the palate, has a bit of clean pale malt, and a light apple note. Kind of grainy, a bit mailed in. Not a lot of thought was put towards composition it seems. One of those collabs where they had way more fun making it than anybody will drinking it.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light stone fruit skins, not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued stone fruitiness. Fairly dry and not a lot going on. Meh.
