A decent, hoppy, crisp but entirely unremarkable IPA. A bit of zesty fruit, a little malt. Nothing to write home about but drinkable enough.

Bottle from Brugsen, Islands Brygge (split with the Mrs) - pours golden orange with a white bubbly head. Aroma is buttery bready malts and citrus fruity, taste is hoppy and fruity with notes of orange, peach, some pine, bitter hoppy into the finish. Ok.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. There’s some citrus character in the nose, but also a slightly Herbal, earthy character - very British. Medium body, vague buttery accents before a rough, bitter finish. Hippos deserve better beers named after them than this. 270616

Fra fad på DØE dag 1, sammen med Steven: klar messingfarge med ok skum. Grei bitterhet og smak dominert av grapefrukt, urter og citrusfrukter. Quaffable but not outstanding in any way.
