Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish malt, caramel, lots of oak, toffee, touch of bourbon. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Okay but not great, lots of sweet malts and caramel, plenty of oaky notes, and the bourbon is subtle but definitely there.

Bottled 500ml (bought in Denmark, BB 04/2024) Ruby colour, steady small beige head. Rye bready dominates the nose, dark fruits and oak too. Can't trace vanilla or bourbon. Medium-bodied. Caramel, rye bread, oak and touch of vanilla and alcohol in the flavour. Not too bad, a bit like Baltic porter with some oak.

500 ml bottle, from Lidl Hjørring. ABV is 8.0%. Matured on American oak and lava rocks. Amber to reddish brown colour, large head, slightly off-white. Distinct aroma of American oak and caramel, a hint of vanilla. Fairly sweet flavour, very oaky (bourbon-like), some charred oak, plenty of caramel, hints of vanilla, the alcohol is noticeable, moderate hops. Warming throatfeel. Enjoyable.

Bottled, at TEJA tasting. Clear copper colour, small head. Caramelly bourbon aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and oaky vanilla. Mild and harmonious. Very interesting.

Bottle. An amber colored, almost clear beer with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma has caramel and dried fruits up front, with vanilla, oak notes and a touch of booze in the back. It's full-bodied, smooth and soft on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a touch of warmth from the alcohol. Dried fruits, caramel, bread notes, some vanilla and oak, a light tannin touch and some boozy flavors, leading to a long caramel and wood finish. Some spiced notes blending in. Sure an interesting one, still far from a rave. 180902
