Denne luksus stenøl er langtidslagret med egestave og masser af karamelliserede lavasten. I forbindelse med tapningen er der tilsat ægte amerikansk bourbon whisky. Om du er til whisky eller ej – den sødlige maltsmag harmonerer virkelig smukt med whiskyens egetræ og den brændte karamel fra lavastenene. Derfor er Jack & Beer en rigtig ”pleaser”, der varmer dejligt om vinteren eller sætter gang i festen om sommeren.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours clear reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, some oak, caramel, nuts, sweet oak. Taste of oaky reddish malt, wood, vanilla, fruits, caramel, good!

Flaske fra Kvickly Nørrebro, på hytta: dyp rubin rav med fint skum som varer. Myk aroma med bær, vanilje, nøtter, urter og litt alkoholsødme. Fin smak også, og den varmer i magen. Delikat bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle. Pours clear dark chestnut with medium white foamy head. Aroma is malt, caramel, lemon, alcohol, yeast, grapes and hints of spice (perhaps cinnamon). Taste is medium to very sweet, medium bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of caramel, dark syrup, chocolate, bitter grapefruit, acrid whisky finish, prunes, sweet licorice and ammonium chloride.

bottle from menu. clear golden amber, bronze notes, smooth offwhite creamy head. looks really fantastic. malty sweet honey, hoppy aroma, faint whiskey liqeur note, flavor is malty, notes of whiskey, sweet, herbal bitterness i think from alc and wood.
