Bottle shared @ ZZT 2017. Dark brown to black color, average to medium sized light brown head. Smell and taste malts, light roast, liquor, bourbon, lightly vanilla, some alcohol, bitter. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Heavy but very nice.

Bottle shared at ZZT. Black with dark beige head. Massive bourbon, light flowers, milk chocolate, sweet red berries, cognac, lots of booze, vanilla, cocoa, light herbs. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice.

66cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, soft smooth bourbon, alcohol, some sweet berries, coffee, caramel. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, fudge, bourbon, soft coffee, chocolate, bittersweet finish, light woody. Medium to full bodied. Nice stuff.

(Sample from a bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, wood and vanilla. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, wood, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, vanilla and bitterness. A bit boozy but otherwise good imperial stout.
