Carpenters Arms, Marble Arch 6 Nov 12. Mørk aprikosfarget. Nesten ikke skum. Søt fruktaroma. Sherrypreg. Veldig søt plommesmak. Ettersmaken er som kvalmende søt saft.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Carpenters Arms. Dark amber body with a reddish shade. Low, lacing-head. Tart, dark fruity nose. Red oranges in the flavour profile, rather tart towards the ending. Beyond par. Not in its best condition (London, 06.11.2012).

Hand-pulled pint in The Wheatsheaf, Chetwynd Aston, Shropshire on 27th Oct 2012. UK pint sleeve glass: mid-brown going on ruby, with a good full foaming head of off-white. The brew is all about malts: semi-sweet molasses rule the nose and taste completely with the hops appearing right at the end to give the final flavours a more balanced and semi-bitter aftertaste. Good body depth and as I tend to like malty, sweetish brews this fitted my profile pretty well. Hence the fairly high scores.

Full bodied ruby ale with a thin head. Sweet to rich in its taste without a distinct fruitiness. Has a heavy malt aroma.
