Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Golden colour, white bubbly foam head and aroma of malt, grain, straw. Taste is malty, grainy, biscuit, straw, with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite OK.

3/3/2023. Cask at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark golden with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, malt, veg, sweaty edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Tasted better than its aroma.

Cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester, 08/10/21. Clear golden with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is faint citric drizzle, airy malts, crackers, grains. Taste comprises grass, lemon rind, trace of herb, touch of stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Rather bland but well kept and slips down easy.

Half-pint, cask ale at Ale Wagon. Shared with Finn. Bright golden body, bubbles to the rim, spotty lacing. Mid-dry fruity aroma. Moderate taste profile of bread and some lemony hints. Short ending of mid-sweet fruits. Average stuff. (10.02.2019).

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Looks good. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Herbal, malty and some citric hoppy notes. Decent session ale.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Golden and clear with a tiny bit of white head caused by the natural carbonation. Low aroma of hay with a little bit of sulphur. Simple bittersweet taste with slightly sulphurous edges. It's a simple little bitter. Not bad stuff at all but it doesn't have bags of character.
