Cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2018, Norwich. Pours mahogany brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, alcohol, berries, chocolate, wood and liquorice. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Appearance: Dark brown colour with a huge gushling tan head.
Aroma: Burned, chocolate, liquorice, sweet.
Body: Medium body, lively carbonation.
Flavour: Chocolate, liquorice, sweet syrup.

F: huge, tanned, long lasting. C: dark opaque. A: roasted malty, coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa. T: roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, medium body, very nice but high disturbing carbonation, sample from 50cl bottle @ RBESG 2017, Grand tasting in Tallin, Estonia.

From a shared 50cl bottle at RBESG 2017 - Grand Tasting. Pours very dark brown with a huge, beige head. Roasty aroma with coffee and dark chocolate. RBESG 2017, Grand Tasting, sampled on July 22, 2017.From bottle 50 cl at 6.6%.Black color, fizzy tan head. Coffee, maple sirup scent. Coffee, maple sirup taste. Maple sirup aftertaste. Extremely fizzy growing mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.4/3/4/1/7=1.9

33cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, marmite, coffee cookies. Flavour follows but the beer is so extremely over-carbonated and fizzy that it’s barely drinkable.

(Sample from a bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had caramel and berries. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy and bitter. A decent sweet stout.

Bottle. Pours black. Aroma is roast, sweet, vanilla, malt, kvass, bread. Flavor is sweet and bitter, rye bread, malt, roast, somewhat acidic. Carbonation is high. Overall: very good.

Sample from the bottle at RBESG 2017, Tallinn. Color is clear brown with large white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, wood? some syrup?, molasses and roasted malts. Very weird stout.
