Fra fat på Babington Arms i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Plommer. Smaken det samme. Litt tørr etter hvert.

Half-pint, cask at Babington Arms (JDW), shared with Finn. Clear amber body, crocheted lacing from a patchy layer. Smell of earthy malts with fruity hints, mid-sweet. Taste of restrained brittle caramel with leafy hop bitterness creeping in towards the ending. Rather thin on the swallow. Okay with the breakfast (Derby 16.02.2016).

Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. Reddish-amber with no head. Generic fruity malty bitter. Ok, and I guess it’s nice to have a sports tie-in beer that isn’t a bland gold.
