Advent Serie 3 Coffe Stout

bottle from 2020 advent box. (i felt like coffe stout) Clear brown (far from pitch black) smooth light brown head. Mild but really well rounded and nice aroma of coffee, chocolate, malts, sort of like the aroma of a cappuchino.also a little licorice. really nice mild sort of milk stout aroma. flavor is roasted malty, coffee, faint very dark chocolate, aftertaste is hard roasted coffee, sweet malts. A pretty decent imperial stout, especially the balance is just right, this bottle is fairly fresh, i think it is best fresh, balance might get a bit more sweetish if the hops went away. Really good brew. Likely the best from braunstein so far. bbf 25.8.2023 batch 565

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, light caramel, coffee, toasted bread, light metallic note. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, caramel, bread, coffee, light nuts, and again a light metallic bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet, light bitter finish. 301219

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and dried fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Jet black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with coffee, fruits and lightly toasted notes. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Dry finish with coffee. Too one dimensional. Just coffee.

75 cl bottle. Pours dark brown, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, dark malty. Herbal, dry and coffee. Lingering dry coffee. Slight herbal finish.
