Decent enough beer. The base porter is fine, perhaps a little thin. But the chocolate characteristics are there, and notably it is spicy, in a nice manner. Copenhagen airport

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a warm, reddish hue, and a creamy, lacing, beige head. Nose is pure chocolate, clean, bitter, dark chocolate. Body is more of the same. I wonder if it's the rye that adds that much chocolate. Finishes with a serious bitterness. And this IS indeed serious stuff, showing how much Braunstein seem to have stepped up their game.

10.03.2018, 0,33l bottle sampled @ yespr's tasting:
Small slightly bubbly-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, dark sugar, toast, minerals, chocolate, hay. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, toast, roasted grain, hay, minerals, paper, bark, grass, sawdust, soil. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough, just boring.
