Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours pale lemon yellow with a small frothy white head. Aroma is just bland hints of summer fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with summer fruits to the fore. Later on there are some floral hops evident, plus a nasty metallic undertone. Finish is somewhat dry. This is a poor apology for a bitter !

Cask, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Brewery Microbars. Shared with Finn. Clear late straw coloured body, filmy white head, scattered lacing. Floral nose with a citric touch, appealing. Mixed malt-fruity flavours, lemon and caramel sweetness. Decent bittersweet finish. Nice bitter version. (2nd day 23.01.2020).

På Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2020. Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Filmskum. Papparoma. Kanskje litt frukt. Smaken mere papp. Litt svisker etter hvert.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 24th February 2018. Clear gold with shallow white foam and scant lacing. Lightly hoppy aroma with sweet malts. Tangy citrus and soft fruits in-mouth, with caramel malt in balance. Sweet fruity finish with a grassy developing bitterness. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body.

Gravity dispense at EBF ’24, 04/08/16. Light hazed on a golden pour with a decent off white cap. Nose is light floral notes, orange peel, straw, bread. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, bready malts, bitter citrics. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Ok ... bitter in name ... golden blonde in nature.
