500ml can courtesy of my son for Christmas. Poured an unclear reddish light brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, earthy, herbal, light toffee, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can ordered from Prost, Chester. An not particularly attractive murky hazy-opaque treacle toffee brown. The foamy light beige head is its redeeming feature appearance-wise. Aroma is sweet with a spicy streak. Fruity caramel and rye. Slick. Grainy. Light-medium bitter. Tangy edge. Develops a sweet streak. Fruity. Caramel. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Delicate. Soft if flat carbonation. Lovely stuff.

Can at home in Hackney. Sourced from online. Pours mostly clear amber with a foamy, off-white head. Medium sweet flavour with lovely citrus and pine, whole grains, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Modest piney resin to finish, further toasted grains, ripening citrus. Excellent.

Hazy amber beer, thin white head. Zesty, hoppy smell to this with some grassy and pine. Flavour has bittersweet lemon, grassy hop, pine again, a little peppery spice. Airy and crisp but pretty tasty.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toffee and pine. Flavour of caramel and toffee apple with a bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A rich, bittersweet red IPA. Possibly a touch too sweet.
