500ml bottle. Wonderful, minimally milky, ruby colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly toasty, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, dark caramel, whiffs of coffee surrogate. Taste is minimally dry, sweet-ish and slightly toasty, dark and caramel malty, notes of malt lozenge, dark caramel, slightly diluted notes of coffee, some roasty and hoppy bitterness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly malty, nice subtle coffee flavours - good.

Spiegel Bräu Bock, gebraut bei Brauhaus Binkert, Flasche von den Getränkerittern. - Dunkles Goldbraun, trüb (Hefesatz!). - In der Nase kräftig karamellig-nussiges, toastig-röstiges, satt sirupsüßes Malz und aromatische herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk satt toastig-dunkelmalzig mit Karamel und schwerer Sirupsüße sowie kerniger herbaler Hopfung, die in kräftige aber stumpfe krautige Bittere ausläuft. Durchschnittlich (also zu stark) rezent, vollmundig, leise alkoholische Wärme. Im Abgang leicht kaffeebitter und krautig hopfenbitter. - Malzschwerer, kernig bitterer Bock, dessen Hopfung allerdings etwas rauh ausgefallen ist. (27.12.2023.)

Thanks Moravius! Dark brown colour, beige foam. Roasty, fruity, hints of caramel, a bit herbal, bitter hoppy finish. Unusual but interesting bock.
