Cask at Cloistered. It pours clear golden amber with a thick off-white head. The nose is soft, doughy, light sweetness, oats and rich tea biscuit The taste is bitter, quite earthy, lemony rind, lime, grapefruit, soapy, pepper, mild acidity, rich tea biscuit and oat with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. a touch watery if truth be told, but drinkable anyhow.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head and a slight haze. Nose - slightly quiet but green notes coming through. Some biscuit malt lurking. Taste - definitely big green note at the front and middle. Maybe tomato plant or even nettles. The biscuit malt kicks in and the green note returns. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and quite a pleasant finish. Overall - interesting and pretty solid.

Amber beer with a thin white head and a faint, sweet aroma. Flavour is bitter citrus with dry malt. Finish is slightly gassy but mostly fruit. It’s not one I’d rush back to but it’s not bad.
